JOB DETAILS:
The Tanzania Electrical and Mechanical Services Agency (TEMESA) is a Public Institution established under the Government Agency Act, Chapter 245. Its main responsibilities include providing Vehicle and Machinery Maintenance Services, Electrical Services including Street Light Maintenance, Refrigerator and Air Conditioning Maintenance, ICT Systems and Electronic Equipment Maintenance, Ferry Services, and Consultancy Services.

In ensuring the effective implementation of the Agency’s responsibilities, the Manager of the Eastern and Southern Zone is announcing temporary job vacancies as follows:

4. AIR CONDITIONING TECHNICIAN GRADE II – 10 POSITIONS

(a) Applicant Requirements:
o Should have completed Form Four education and graduated from a recognized Government Technical Institute with a two-year course in air conditioning, or
o Should have completed Form Four education and obtained a three-year course certificate in air conditioning from a recognized Government Technical Institute.

(b) Responsibilities:
• Perform air conditioning, refrigerator, and cold room maintenance.
• Install new air conditioning, refrigerator, and cold room systems.
• Inspect existing systems in government buildings involving air conditioning, refrigeration, and cold rooms.
• Perform assigned tasks by the Manager/Supervisor.

• Applicants should not exceed the age of 45.
• Applications should include copies of relevant certificates, two passport-size photos of the applicant, and the applicant’s Curriculum Vitae.
