Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our company as the Warehouse Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and organized handling of materials and products. Your primary focus will be to optimize inventory management, streamline logistical processes, and maintain a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse operations within the manufacturing industry.

Job Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse policies, procedures, and operational guidelines to ensure smooth and accurate workflow.
• Oversee the receiving, inspection, storage, and distribution of raw materials, finished goods, and supplies, ensuring proper inventory control and accurate record-keeping.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality control departments to maintain optimal stock levels, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
• Develop and enforce safety protocols, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and promote a culture of workplace safety.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize efficiency and productivity, utilizing industry best practices.
• Implement and utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software tools to track inventory, generate reports, and improve overall warehouse operations.
• Continuously monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations, such as order fulfillment, on-time delivery, and accuracy.
• Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and address any discrepancies promptly.
• Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and employee engagement within the warehouse team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience of more than 5 years as a Warehouse Manager or a similar supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the plastics industry.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software tools.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
