Join us and become part of the NTT family as we continue to provide innovative solutions that help our clients achieve their business objectives.Reporting to the Practice Lead, Hybrid Networks, the Technical Architect will work closely with sales and implementation team to identify and create opportunities on customer sites, provide Solutions and Designs roadmaps, innovation and product life cycles for clients that meet their business requirements.Working at NTTROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide Solution and Design roadmaps for innovation and product life cycles for clients that meet their business requirements.
- Develop Business Proposals for assigned opportunities.
- Conduct client presentation on new product, Technology Sessions and running Proof of Concepts on new solutions.
- Work with major vendors i.e Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba among others to prepare bill of materials and financials based on the solution design requirements.
- Works with sales team to respond to qualified tenders within the department.
- Conduct assigned Network Assessment using Dimension Data Technology Lifecycle Management Assessment tool (TLMA) and Wireless Site Surveys using Ekahau to help client in establishing Solution Requirements.
- Work closely with implementation engineers to ensure the high level and low-level designs aligns to what was proposed to the customer.
- Act as subject matter expert on a variety of technologies within the Hybrid Networks
- Guide and/mentor junior engineers
KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:Experience in scoping and designing the following technologies:
- Data Centre Network technologies such Data Centre Interconnect (DCI), VXLAN, OTV, LISP, VPCs etc.
- Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) with strong background on Cisco Viptela, Cisco Meraki, and Fortinet SD-WAN
- Software Defined Access (SDA) with strong background on Cisco SD-Access, Meraki Solutions, Fortinet and HPE Aruba.
- Network Admission Control (NAC) with strong background on Cisco ISE, Fortinac and HPE Aruba ClearPass.
- Software Defined Data Centre (SDDC) with strong background on Cisco ACI or Arista Solutions.
- Knowledge on Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
- Enterprise Wireless Solutions with strong backgrounds on Cisco WLAN, Meraki, Fortinet and HPE Aruba
- Knowledge on virtualization and Storage Area Networking
- Knowledge of network programmability and automation.
- Extensive experience in carrying out network assessments and reporting/recommendation writing.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field of study
- At least 3 years in the enterprise networking field
- Relevant industry standard certifications, e.g. ITIL
- Professional level networking Certification i.e CCNP Enterprise, CCNP DC/CCDP/CCNP Security
- Expert level network security certification i.e, Checkpoint CCSE, Fortinet NSE7 (enterprise firewall) will be an added advantage.
- DevOps certification and experience scripting and network automation will be an added advantage.
