Job summary
As a Finance Team Member, you will play a crucial role in our finance department, contributing to the overall financial health and success of our organization. You will work closely to our clients, assisting with financial data entry, tax compliance, and various financial roles. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be key in ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards and regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience in audit or accounting firm as an accountant.
• Professional additional certificates are added advantages (CPA, ACCA, CMA, CFA)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work with confidential and sensitive financial information.
• Self-motivated and results oriented.
• Time management skills is a must. We are very sensitive to this.
Job roles and responsibilities
Accounting roles:
• Financial data entry: Handle routine data entry tasks, inputting transactions into accounting software for our clients.
• Ensure accuracy and proper coding of transaction.
• AP and AR: Manage the accounts payable process, including verifying, and processing invoices and making payments.
• Help prepare and send invoices, track receivables, and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Bank reconciliation: Ensure that all transactions match the company’s records. Any discrepancies or errors need to be identified and corrected.
• Financial Reporting:
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Tax Preparation Support: Assist with preparing and organizing tax documents.
• Record-Keeping: Help clients maintain organized financial records, ensuring that all relevant documents are readily available for tax purposes.
Compliance role
• Prepare tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities. Calculate taxable income, deductions, and credits to determine the tax liability.
• Stay updated with local tax laws and regulations. They ensure that all tax returns are prepared in compliance with these laws.
• Help clients develop tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities legally. This may involve planning for deductions, credits, and tax-efficient investments.
• File tax returns on behalf of clients, whether they are individuals, businesses, partnerships, or corporations. This includes electronic filing when applicable.
• Ensure that tax returns are filed on time to avoid penalties and interest charges for late filing.
• Communicate with tax authorities on behalf of clients, handling inquiries, disputes, and audits. Also assist with responses to tax notices or assessments.
Consultation roles
• In addition to tax compliance, provide advice on tax-related matters.
• Conduct research to address complex tax issues and provide well-informed advice to clients.
General roles
• Must stay updated on changes to tax laws and regulations, attending training and seminars to maintain their expertise.
• Represent clients in discussions and negotiations with tax authorities during audits, appeals, and other interactions.
