Meet the Team:

Serrala has a big sales department with professionals focusing on direct sales, partner management, account management, lead generation and customer success. Since we operate globally, our Sales department is split up in different regional focusses. Together with the colleagues of Marketing, Consulting, Solution Architects and Technology we all work towards our ambitious goals. To support our growth plans we are looking to extent our team with several Sales Executives.

 

About the role:

As an Account Executive, you will act as a CEO of your territory responsible for new logo acquisitions for Serrala. You will rely on your experience selling to the office of the CFO, and keen hunter-like mindset to prospect, execute and close large enterprise software deals in both the commercial and public sector space.

You will be responsible for:

  • Proven background: You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business & Management or related field. Industry experience is highly welcomed, but a true Sales Executive can sell everything!
  • Hunting & Farming: Proven background in Prospecting, Pipeline Development and Opportunity Closing (i.e. selling initial deals into net new accounts). Furthermore, you understand that nurturing your clients afterwards is equally important for your success.
  • Extraordinary drive:You are eager for success and always looking to take your enterprise sales skills to the next level.
  • Strategic thinking:You engage with prospects and organizations to position Serrala and its´ solutions through value-based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis, references and analysis data. Working closely together with your colleagues, and make use of existing networks and relationships, we also see as a strategic move!
  • Excellent communicator:You have excellent communication skills, strategic selling and presentation skills that help you to capture new markets and new customers.
  • Customer focused: You team effectively with the available partners to drive the business and ensure a high degree of new customer satisfaction. You coach customers through the whole sales cycle, understand their dysfunction and offer the suitable solution.
  • Hands-On-Approach: You coordinate customer demonstrations and proposal development, build business cases (what problem do we solve, differentiation, financial models), processing of tenders/RFPs.

 

 

What makes you excel in this position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of direct sales experience with an Enterprise Software company. Prior software sales experience specific to medium or large enterprise is MANDATORY.
  • Entrepreneurial-like hunger and drive to prospect relentlessly to uncover and qualify appropriate opportunities.
  • Proven ability to apply value propositions and differentiation to propose and position solutions to solve business problems.
  • Experience and confidence talking to both operational and senior levels of the office of the CFO.
  • Ability to lead and orchestrate complex sales cycles while leveraging extended teams and partners as needed.
  • Embraces the role of leader and coach while operating in a team selling environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Self-starter who will thrive in an unstructured, small team start-up like environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel, up to 30%.
