Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Sales Manager located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers and identifying new sales opportunities. The job involves frequent travels around the country and delivering sales targets set by the company. The Area Sales Manager will work collaboratively with colleagues, vendors, and other stakeholders to achieve sales objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent sales, marketing, and negotiation skills
• Experience in sales in the roofing and construction industry
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience in data analysis and reporting
• Degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
• Fluency in English and Swahili languages
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently
• Knowledge of roofing and construction industry regulations and standards
• Experience in managing a sales team is a plus
