| DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | i. Examining patients referred to his/her work area ii. Maintaining Radiology equipment and facilities in his/her work area iii. Reviewing X-Ray images that have been tested for quality and adequacy (diagnostic quality) iv. Maintaining patient images until the results reach the referring doctors v. Supervising subordinates vi. Providing advice on Radiology and Radiation issues and tasks in his/her work area. vii. Preparing medical/diagnostic equipment and supervising sterilization of equipment in his/her work area viii. Providing initial training to employees assigned to work in his/her work area. ix. Performing other tasks assigned by his/her superior related to his/her education, experience and skills |
| QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | Employment of holders of a Diploma in Radiology Technology from a Government-recognized institution, who are registered with the Tanzania Council of Radiology Technicians. |
