  • Develop and maintain R packages for use in the Novo Nordisk/pharmaverse ecosystem
  • Collaborate with other internal/external developers and domain experts to design and implement new features
  • Write clear and concise documentation for each package
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for package development
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in open-source software development (specifically within the pharma industry)

Creating cool things that accelerate, automate and simplify clinical reporting both internally in Novo Nordisk and across the industry should resonate with you!This role offers the flexibility to be filled remotely, allowing you to work from Søborg, Aalborg, Madrid, Boston, or Bangalore.QualificationsTo excel in this position you will have:

  • A strong background in data science, IT or natural sciences
  • Experience with R package development
  • Strong knowledge of R, including tidyverse and other common R packages
  • Proficiency in software engineering best practices, including version control, testing and documentation
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • Familiarity with Python, Julia, and other programming languages is a plus
