Purpose of the role

To Manage the costs on a construction project to ensure that the project is completed within its projected budget.

Responsibilities

• Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs
• Preparing, negotiating and analyzing costs for tenders and contracts Coordination of work effort
• Advising on a range of legal and contractual issues
• Valuing completed work and arranging for payments
• Preparing reports, analyses contracts, budgets, risk assessment and other documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying.
• Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantage.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Sound knowledge of construction Ability to organize, plan and strategies
• Great networking abilities
