We are currently seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead our brand promotion efforts in Tanzania. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Tanzanian market, a track record of successful marketing campaigns, and the ability to manage both a marketing budget and a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with our business goals and brand identity.
- Conduct market research to understand the Tanzanian market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Manage the marketing budget efficiently, ensuring maximum ROI on marketing investments.
- Lead and motivate the marketing team to achieve set objectives.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to market our products/services.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of digital and traditional marketing campaigns.
- Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key industry players, agencies, and vendors.
- Represent the brand at industry events, conferences, and other promotional opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of marketing experience, with a significant portion in the Tanzanian market.
- Marketing experience in FMCG (Added advantage)
- Proven experience in managing a marketing team and budget.
- Excellent understanding of both digital and traditional marketing channels.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Creativity and an eye for detail.
- Proficient in marketing software and tools.
