Maintenance Manager serving at My Blue Hotel is always working on behalf of our guests and working with other team members. We are looking for an efficient and vigilant Hotel Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team.

As a Hotel Maintenance Manager, your role is to ensure excellent maintenance of the buildings, infrastructure, and the overall appearance of our hotel. Your role comprises the overall maintenance and upkeep of the hotel building’s infrastructure and exterior. In addition to this, overseeing all construction and maintaining excellent records of all operations. In this role, you should be organized and proactive. Familiarity with electrical, plumbing.

Responsibilities:

  • Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies, and facilities (e.g. kitchens, tennis courts)
  • Plan and oversee renovations and construction
  • Act fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power outages)
  • Find ways to reduce hotel operating costs and conserve energy
  • Supervise team of Maintenance Technicians and Janitors
  • Manage relationships with contractors, service providers, and suppliers
  • Maintain budgets, expenses, and activity logs
  • Plan the renovations in such a way that it does not affect the hotel operations and does not cause any problems to the guests
  • Troubleshoot the issues and act on the complaints on a timely basis
  • Ensure all the technicians and janitors are doing their job properly
  • Create a priority list of repairs and keep it well updated
  • Prepare the necessary reports and ensure that the budget is being followed
Required profile for job ad : Maintenance ManagerRequirements:

  • Proven experience as a Hotel Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor
  • Bachelor degree in Hotel Management, Facility Management, Electrical Engineering or relevant field
  • Candidates having a diploma in Management can also be considered however must have maintenance or electrical engineering experience
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer, and HVAC systems; hotel industry experience is a plus
  • Experience in administrative processes (e.g. budgeting, performance management)
  • Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in Facility Management is preferred
  • Valid Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) is a plus
