NEXUS PROPERTY GROUP LIMITED is a leading organization committed to excellence in Real Estate Industry. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Legal Officer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in drafting, reviewing, and managing legal contracts, with a focus on real estate law in Tanzania.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including real estate agreements, leases, and service contracts.
2. Ensure all contracts comply with Tanzanian laws and regulations, particularly in the real estate sector.
3. Provide legal advice on contract-related matters to internal teams.
4. Monitor contract performance and ensure all contractual obligations are met.
5. Assist in resolving contract disputes and liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
6. Maintain a database of contracts and ensure proper documentation and filing.
7. Stay updated on changes in legal requirements affecting real estate contracts in Tanzania.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in legal contracts, with a strong focus on real estate law in Tanzania.
3. In-depth knowledge of Tanzanian real estate laws and regulations.
4. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
6. Proficiency in legal research and ability to interpret legal documents.
