Location: Europe
Position Overview:
Serrala is seeking a seasoned Lead of Product Marketing who will be responsible for driving impactful strategies that sit at the intersection of product, sales, customer success and marketing. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the role also has direct accountability to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: build, lead, and mentor a team of product marketers deployed across Europe and North America.
- Evangelist for our products and customer needs: be a passionate advocate both internally and externally for the way our products solve customer needs
- Structure, Standardize, Prioritize and implement assets: templatize and prioritize the product marketing assets:
- Product launch content: collaborate across functions (product owners, marketing, pre-sales, etc.) to create relevant assets ranging from demos, brochures, blogs, landing pages and webinars
- Product strategy alignment: work together with the PMs on the product strategy and create storyline of why the product exists, as the foundation of all product communication
- Deep cross-functional alignment: work closely with the marketing, product, customer success and sales organizations to understand their objectives and challenges to drive product adoption. Align on shared KPIs.
- Define the why: develop buyer personas that provide customer, market, competitive knowledge blueprint, problems solved, and benefits achieved.
- Positioning, insight, and messaging: turn customer and market insights into internal tools like positioning, documents, or messaging briefs.
- Internal training and educational content: enable customer-facing teams, such as sales and marketing, with all the necessary knowledge and tools to help them communicate product messaging consistently and clearly.
- Sales content: guide and coach sales to stay on message and handle customer objections skillfully.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of product marketing, strategic, B2B, and tech experience. An understanding of fast-growing tech and/or fintech SaaS companies is a plus.
- Excellent leadership skills and proven ability to recruit, develop, and coach talent.
- You are comfortable working remotely, and you are willing to travel. Preferred locations are close to our main offices: Hamburg or Barcelona.
- You represent a caring personality and are not afraid of taking difficult decisions.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment; experience designing and executing processes for scalability.
- You are a strategic thinker who can formulate and execute product marketing strategies.
