Overview:
Handeni Rural District is one of the 10 districts of Tanga Region in Tanzania. It is bordered to the west by the Kilindi District and the Handeni Urban District, to the north by the Korogwe District, to the east by the Pangani District, and to the south by the Pwani Region. It split in 2002 form the Kilindi District. The administrative capital of the district is Handeni town.
He is announcing One Year Contract jobs for Tanzanians with qualifications and skills to fill the following positions:

1. Information Officer II (Position 1)

a) Characteristics of the Applicant
• Must have graduated with a Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma in Journalism or an equivalent qualification from any College recognized by the Government.

b) Work and Responsibilities of the Information Officer II.
• Information Officer II will perform the following duties;-
• Gathering and writing information.
• Taking pictures in various events concerning the Town Council and the government in general. Taking pictures of the show.
• Storing images and servicing the Library and references.
• Prepare magazines and posters.
• Collect various statistics.
• Prepare newsletters and brochures.
• Managing all social networks of the Town Council.
• To do other tasks in his field that he will be assigned by his Head/Supervisor.
