Role Overview:
As the Global CIO, you will be responsible for leading the global Digital Transformation strategy and driving the adoption of technology to improve business processes and customer experiences. This is a senior leadership role that will require you to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including executives, business leaders, and IT professionals, to deliver transformative initiatives across various domains such as S/4HANA, Data & analytics, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, CRM, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, R&D and other transformation topics.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Digital Transformation roadmap, aligning technology initiatives with the overall business strategy.
- Lead and manage global Digital Transformation programs, ensuring successful delivery within timeframes, budget, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify and prioritize technology needs and opportunities, aligning IT initiatives with business objectives.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with technology partners and vendors, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery of services.
Required skills & experience:
- Proven experience in leading global Digital Transformation programs within the Consumer Goods, Life Sciences or similar industry domains.
- Extensive knowledge of working in SAP environments, ideally S/4HANA
- Experience in leading global teams responsible for but not limited to - Data & analytics, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, CRM, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, R&D, Etc.
- Strong background in M&A activities
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align technology initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale IT budgets and vendor relationships.
- Proven ability to drive change, innovation, and continuous improvement in a complex global organization
