OVERVIEW.

We are looking for a results-driven and confident financial controller to manage and improve our organization's financial performance and direct our accounting operations. Duties of the financial controller will include managing accounting records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, overseeing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information.

JOB DESCRIPTION.
• Responsible for daily bookkeeping, accounts payable, and receivables
• Develop the overall company financial goals and objectives
• Oversee preparation of financial records related to the general ledger, payroll, budget, expenses
• Maintain accurate bank records of cash withdraws and deposits
• Follow standard accounting process for financial analysis and reporting activities.
• Development and managing a budgeting system
• Performance account reconciliations and generating financial reports
• Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies, and other financial-related problems.
• Manage all client/suppliers’ accounts for payments settlements
• Monitor and manage expenses within allotted budgets.
• Preparing financial reports.
• Analyzing financial data.
• Monitoring internal controls.
• Overseeing and preparing income statements.
• Managing financial transactions.
• Streamlining accounting functions and operations.
• Developing plans for financial growth.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS.
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounts or any other related field.
• Computer Skills, (Microsoft office application- Advance level), internet
• Accounting framework particularly from IFRS and IAS.
• Proven experience in finance management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
• Auditing experience.
• Compliance oriented.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Analytical skills.
• Minimum 3 years progressive experience in accounting and finance role.
