JOB DETAILS:
The General Practitioner of Dodoma Regional Referral Hospital is announcing Tanzanians with the qualifications and interest to work in the Dodoma Regional Referral Hospital for a voluntary contract for various cadres as outlined below.

Qualifications of Applicants:
• They must have a Doctorate Degree from Universities recognized by the Government who have completed an "Internship" of at least twelve months and obtained registration from the Council of Tanganyika Doctors (Medical Council of Tanganyika).

Duties and responsibilities:
• To do all the medical work in the hospital related to various diseases including children's diseases, maternal diseases and normal and emergency surgery.
• Providing and managing health education as well as improving community health in the District and Regions or his work area.
• Investigating, monitoring and preventing outbreaks of diseases
• Keeping statistics and using them as directed in the principles of MTUHA.
• Planning and evaluating health services in his workplace.
• To teach students and employees present at the workplace
• To supervise and direct the employees under him
• Teaching students in health colleges located in his workplace
• Designing and conducting research and distributing the results
• Designing and preparing strategies to improve the quality of service in his field
• Preparing plans and budget estimates for services of health
• Participating, reviewing and improving health services (medical audit and quality improvement)
• Providing outreach services in his district/region
• Doing other tasks assigned by his head of work related to education, experience and his knowledge

(i) Be a citizen of Tanzania;
(ii) Must be at least 18 years old and not more than 35 years old;
(iii) He should not be a Government Employee.
(iv) Each applicant must attach a copy of the birth certificate, national identity card or national identity number (NIDA).
(v) Applicants who meet the criteria will be called for an interview and those who fail to comply with the conditions of this announcement will not be called.
(vi) Applicants should attach personal information (CV), showing their phone numbers and address and 3 sureties, education and professional certificates.
(vii) The applicant must have at least 1 year of experience in the profession while working, so applicants with long-term experience will be given priority.
(viii) Applicants for the medical staff must have completed professional training and obtained a license.

Professional Qualifications
1. All applicants must have educational certificates, professional certificates, licenses, for applicants who have been employed by the relevant professional council and have completed vocational training. SALARY
2. Applicants who get a position and are given a contract will be paid a salary based on the contractual agreement between the Employer and the employee.
3. All applications must be accompanied by:-
• Copy of birth certificate;
• A copy of the Fourth or/and Sixth Form certificate according to the Cadre of the Applicant.
• Copy of Professional Certificates (Certificates and Transcripts) and Curriculum Vitae (CV);
• Two recent passport size photographs.
