Overview:
This strategic and transformational leadership role will drive the overall commercial success of assigned Certara Software Portfolio, Certara AI. This is a highly visible and growth driven global commercial role. Success will be measured by meeting and exceeding the assigned growth targets by portfolio, through the global zones and roles (Global Account Managers, Enterprise Account Managers, Inside Sales Reps. Etc.).
Responsibilities
- Build a sustainable growth engine by utilizing the Certara Software Global Go-to-Market (GTM) e.g Zones, Roles, etc. resulting in double digit growth for each assigned Portfolio.
- Work collaboratively through the Zone Commercial Leaders and their teams to develop initiatives, programs and activities that will target specific growth drivers in the industry, regions and within existing customers (as well as new prospective customers).
- Drive expansion through ensuring the Zones and roles actively execute on the growth strategies for each assigned Portfolio.
- Work closely with Product Management, Customer Success, and other SME, stakeholder organizations to delivery rapid and effective enablement for each sales team member by role, in each Zones for each identified industry segment etc.
- Work with Marketing to execute on the events, Portfolio/Product Solution Briefings and the commercial team to ensure rapid and effective lead follow-up, tracking and reporting on key performance metrics.
- Work with the Global Solution Consulting team to ensure that all Solutions Consultants (Pre-Sales Experts) are fully trained, aligned and supporting the commercial GTM structure, activities that result in more effective leveraging of the R.A.D.A.R. methodology, solution presentation skills (Great Demo and other adopted disciplines) to increase win rate, shorten sales cycles and work to support larger deals by finding the “threads” to pull in multiple solutions in assigned portfolios but also bringing in adjacent solutions from other portfolios and Certara Business Units.

- Undergraduate degree required, specifically in a science related field: advanced degree preferred (MBA preferred).
- Comprehensive Industry experience supporting the assigned Portfolio (s).
- Experience leveraging resources to drive significant business value - resulting in double digit growth in a SaaS software environment highly preferred.
- Proven consultative sales experience.

- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills (e.g EQ: high Emotional Quotient)
- EQ combined with strong leadership ability with desire to develop others in order to support continuous transformation and resulting business growth

- Excellent reporting skills including detailed analysis and skilled executive presentations
- Globally aware and adept and multi-cultural experience
Industry Experience:
- Global Pharmaceutical Market Access and related disciplines in the end to end drug development process.
- Knowledge of priority access stakeholders such as health plans, value assessment bodies, commercialization of drugs being brought to market
- Regionalization of the drug development, innovation lifecycle, market access, payer models, reimbursement and distribution models
- Understanding of the clinical trials modernization trends and patient engagement opportunities
- Understanding of the landscape assessment by therapeutic area (e.g. rare disease therapies that target small populations to medical education, scientific engagement with population health stakeholders and how they make treatment decisions to inform manufactures regarding communication and or regulatory adherence.
