Rogathe Dairy Farm Products Limited (RDFPL) is seeking an experienced and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our dynamic management team.

The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company's operations, providing strategic financial guidance, and playing a key role in achieving the company's growth and profitability objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive financial performance through effective financial planning and analysis.

Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Planning:

• Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
• Prepare long-term financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making and resource allocation.
• Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement to achieve sustainable growth.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Provide insightful analysis of financial results, highlighting key trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Present financial reports to the executive team and board of directors.

Risk Management:

• Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to safeguard the company's assets and financial stability.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.

Funding and Capital Management:

• Collaborate with the private investment bank and other financial institutions to manage funding requirements.
• Optimize capital structure, manage debt, and evaluate potential funding sources for expansion projects.

Financial Operations and Controls:

• Implement and maintain robust financial controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
• Streamline financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Cash Flow Management:

• Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure the company's liquidity needs are met.
• Recommend strategies to optimize cash flow and manage cash reserves effectively.

Investment Analysis:

• Evaluate potential investment opportunities and provide financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Assess the financial viability of new projects and expansions.

Investor Relations:

• Act as the primary liaison with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders on financial matters.
• Provide clear and transparent financial information to foster investor confidence.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field;
• MBA qualification preferred.
• Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the dairy or agricultural industry.
• Strong financial acumen with a track record of driving financial performance and growth.
• Solid understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, investors, and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Experience in working with private investment banks and managing funding sources is a plus.
