Accountant Position

Location: Dar es Salaam Reports to: Managing Director & Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with Tanzanian tax regulations (VAT, PAYE, Corporate Tax).
• Process payroll and statutory deductions.
• Monitor cash flow, prepare forecasts, and support budgeting.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulators.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial data.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting (experience in technology, fuel, or service industries is an added advantage).
• Strong knowledge of Tanzanian financial laws and tax compliance.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
