JOB DETAILS:
The role is responsible for the alignment and execution of the SSA People Strategy within a business unit, partnering with senior business leaders in ensuring people strategies that support and enable the productivity and engagement of all employees.
Responsibilities
• Implement the tactical people strategy and plans, focusing on such areas as leadership capability, workforce performance, employee engagement and talent management.
• Partner with business leaders in driving and executing talent sourcing in line with our SSA diversity and inclusion strategy.
• Together with business leaders and the Learning CoE, implement programmes which build current and future fit capabilities.
• Implement programmes that will improve productivity and inculcate a performance culture throughout the business unit / capability, whilst keeping employees engaged and motivated.
• Partner with business leaders to ensure people career development, retention and leadership bench strength.
• Take overall accountability for quality in the HR value chain / processes.
• Trusted point of contact for all stakeholders in the provision of a one-stop HR service to relevant stakeholders.
• Identify and access appropriate services aligned with business need.
• Drive business adoption of HR operating model and solutions, supporting the role out of solutions and capability building for line managers and employees.
• Actively drive the SSA D&I strategy to ensure an inclusive environment.
• Accountable for ensuring a strong employee relations environment.
• Responsible for ensuring that the DP World culture is rolled- out across the business unit / capability.
• Promotes an internal appreciation for the HR value of strategic business imperatives
• Responsible for delivering business unit / capability metrics.
• Responds to Union (if applicable) and Governmental formal complaints.
• Formulate governance and compliance models and frameworks for the operation in order to identify and manage risk liabilities.
• Responsible for the management and leadership of an engaged team, promoting collaboration and ensuring that each is developed and evaluated against goals and objectives which are aligned, specific, measurable, attainable yet challenging, realistic and time bound.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, labour relations, business, or a field related to the position.
• 10 years of experience in a similar environment, with at least 6 years business leadership / specialist experience.

• interpersonal / communication skills – able to communicate and establish effective working relationships with all departments and the business.
• Extensive Strategic HR Business partnering experience .
