JOB DETAILS:
REPSSI seeks to appoint an experienced Deputy Chief of Operations who will be responsible for and serve as primary coordinator for all aspects of project finance, administration, compliance, and sub-award management for a large-scale USG funded project. This position is contingent upon funding.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide senior level leadership for all finance and administrative aspects of the project, including establishing clear procedures and policies for efficient operations.
• Responsible for subgrant management and compliance with USG grant rules and regulations. You will support all partners to acquire capacity in financial management

• Strong communications and presentation skills; able to develop tailored and persuasive messaging for varied audiences.
• Proactive, resourceful, solutions-oriented and results-oriented.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• A full certified chartered accountant with CPA/ACCA and an undergraduate degree in accounting. An MBA in finance will be an added advantage.
• 10 years of senior level experience in the management of large-scale, complex, USG funded projects.
• Experience in financial planning and management, procurement, and operations management and developing and managing large budgets and sub-awards.
• Must have headed a financial management team, and able to manage HR for operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of relevant procurement regulations and local market conditions.
• Familiarity with Pastel. Navision, or similar or financial management software highly preferred.
Additional skills
• Ability to represent the organisation at high levels.
• Proficient in MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), Web Conferencing Applications, and information and budget management systems.
