Position Overview:
BioBuu is seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics & Workshop Manager to oversee transportation logistics and workshop operations. The ideal candidate will manage drivers, coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs, and ensure the efficient and safe delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities
Logistics Management
• Plan, schedule, and monitor daily transport operations to ensure timely deliveries.
• Manage and supervise a team of drivers, including task allocation, route optimization, and
performance reviews.
• Track driver activities, fuel consumption, and vehicle movements using GPS and fleet
management systems.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies.
• Develop and implement systems to optimize loading, trip times, and overall logisyics
efficiency.
Workshop Management
• Supervise vehicle and machinery maintenance, repairs, and servicing schedules.
• Coordinate with mechanics and service providers for quality repairs and timely completion of
work.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance logs, repair costs, and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure workshop tools, equipment, and safety protocols are in optimal condition.
Reporting & Documentation
• Monitor and analyse fleet performance, downtime, and costs to prepare reports for
management.
• Ensure all vehicles have valid insurance, permits, and licenses.
• Maintain detailed records of workshop and transport operations.
Team Leadership & Development
• Provide guidance and training to drivers and workshop staff to enhance skills and adherence
to safety protocols.
• Promote a culture of accountability, efficiency, and teamwork.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet or workshop management.

• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and spare parts procurement.

• Proficiency in using fleet tracking and management systems.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Key Skills
• Ability to manage a team of drivers and workshop staff effectively.
• Analytical skills to track performance metrics and optimize operations.

• Familiarity with Tanzanian transport regulations and road safety standards.
• Knowledge of vehicle mechanics and troubleshooting techniques.

• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and fleet management software.
• Fluent in writen and spoken English and Kiswahili
