BESIX Ballast Nedam (BBN) Limited, the CONTRACTOR for the Engineering, procurement and
Construction of the Jetty and Load Out Facilities in the Tanga Bay for the East African Crude Oil
Pipeline (EACOP) Project, invites application for Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1)

Purpose and scope of assignment.
As a Welding Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our welding operations meet industry standards and specifications.

Job responsibilities
• Conduct visual and non-destructive inspections of welded structures to identify defects and non-compliance with welding procedures.
• Use techniques like visual inspection, dye penetrant testing, and magnetic particle testing to assess weld quality.
• Work with the welding team to provide guidance on proper welding techniques.
• Document inspection findings and communicate results to relevant stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry standards and welding technology advancements.

Job Qualification, Experience and Skills
• Tanzanian citizenship
• Hold a CSWIP 3.1 certification.
• Minimum 8 years of experience at welding inspections
• Knowledge of welding processes and equipment.
• Familiarity with non-destructive testing methods.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
