Reporting to: Managing Director

The ideal candidate

• A strong leader with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid experience with transformers
• A fast and critical thinker with superb attention to detail
• An individual who is flexible to travel throughout the country and internationally as required.

Key responsibilities

• As the Technical Sales Engineer, you will coordinate the PPRA Tendering of electrical goods and services • You will be responsible for marketing, sales and servicing of transformers and transformer tap changers
• You will supervise and conduct transformer service and testing at the site
• You will prepare service reports after transformer site services
• You will conduct trainings for MaschinenFabrik Reinhausen (MR) transformer changers and follow up with customer care related issues.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or other relevant degree
• Minimum 10 years’ experience, preferably having experience working with transformers
• An individual with marketing and sales experience
• Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (e.g. MS word, MS excel)
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
• Motivated self-starter with excellent attention to detailWhy TNG Quality & General Supplies

The opportunity to work with one of Tanzania’s biggest transformers servicing company that offers services such as:

a. Power transformer requirements up to 150MVA for voltages up to 400kV
b. Distribution Transformers up to 3MVA,11 & 33kV (Ex Beta & Astor – Turkey)
c. Starting Autotransformers for big motors up to 15kV and 5000kW etc.
d. Special Transformers like Arc Furnace transformers, Earthing transformers etc.

The selected Technical Sales Engineer will become an expert in MR tap changer servicing
