JOB DETAILS:
Supply Chain Officer
Africa Healthcare Network Tanzania (AHN) is looking for a flexible, passionate, highly motivated, and proactive individual who is willing to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. The Supply Chain Officer will be responsible for performing basic stock, supply, and inventory tasks including ordering and issuing medical consumables to AHN centers and warehouses in Tanzania. The person will also be responsible for ordering medical equipment for centers and the distribution business of medical equipment for external customers.

Key requirements for the role are as follows:
• Bachelor’s degree related to Procurement/Supply Chain is a prerequisite.
• At least 1 to 2 years of supply chain and/or procurement experience.
• Basic knowledge of stock and inventory recordkeeping to include safe, effective and
• Efficient storage of stock and supplies.
• Experience working in the healthcare sector is an added advantage.
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience building and maintaining customer and supplier relationships.
• Proficiency in Sage ERP, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a busy environment.
