FUNCTION/DEPARTMENT: SUPPLY CHAIN
POSITION TITLE: Supply Chain Manager
REPORTS TO: COO-Kenya
DIRECT REPORTS/SUPERVISES: Site & Development Manager, Operations & Excellence Controller and Operations Manager
JOB PURPOSE: Oversee warehouse team operations to ensure optimal return on investment

Analyze propose solutions and implementation
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all Warehouse Projects are implemented and executed as per the Clients requirements
- Manage Warehouse security
- Responsible for weekly invoicing of all warehousing and handling activities for value added and general cargo Clients
- Ensure no variances between physical and WMS stock
- Perform spot checks on warehouse documentation and archiving to ensure compliance
- Structure tariff building & manage the P & L
- Plan & design container yard, warehouse layouts and flows
- Manage stock holding & planning to optimize space
- Manage MHE requirements
- Provide Clients and top management with accurate stock management reports
- Develop and share KPI’s to measure performance
- Manage & Lead warehouse teams
- Consistently analyze productivity & efficiency of warehouse resources
- Support sales force ,legal & contractual negotiations
- Ensure strong Client relationships
- Responsible for the Company P & L
- Responsible for the strategic decision making & implementation of such decisions in the company site
- Ensure overall governance on discipline in the company site
- Take full ownership of the company site operations
- Provide guidance where required to the operations team
- Provide feedback to Management in terms of key account issues for further support
- Ensure compliance /SOP;s are adhered o with a re-developed centre of excellence team

Qualifications
- Masters Degree in supply chain Management
- Accounting Knowledge.
Experience
- 10 years experience in a Logistics/Supply Chain Company,
- 5 years in a senior managerial role
