Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Software Developer in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and writing clean and scalable code. The Senior Software Developer will also be responsible for testing and debugging code, as well as collaborating with other developers to improve software quality.

Qualifications

• Computer Science and Software Development skills
• Back-End Web Development skills
• Proficiency in Programming, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience developing and deploying RESTful APIs
• Experience with databases, SQL or NoSQL
• Experience with AWS or other cloud-based platforms
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience working with NGOs, development partners, or social enterprises is a plus
