For our Operational Programs department, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Denmark. The Project Manager is an integrated member of our dynamic and engaged Operational Programs ‘OPRO’ team, which is part of Global Operations – Operational Excellence. The Operational Programs department is responsible to standardize and improve our Operational Framework through Process Management, Strategic Improvement Projects, and Transformation efforts for our Operating Model for Service Operations.
As a Project Manager, it will be your responsibility to manage cross-functional projects of high importance and a strategic priority for Service Operations. The candidate will be depending on establishing strong collaboration with stakeholders through a positive attitude, cross-functional collaboration and a high level of communication. Essential to drive our operational transformation journey in Service!
How To Contribute To Our Vision
Key responsibilities in this role will be:
- Identify, initiate and drive operational and strategic improvement projects within the Operational Excellence function.
- Drive selected transformation efforts to lead the Golden Triangle Program in Service for Availability Management and close partnership with Onshore Business Unit.
- Lead cross-functional project team(s) within Service and key interfaces to other functions including Onshore and Offshore business units.
- Contribute to the Improvement Program area in Operational Programs taking an end-to-end perspective and align with all affected departments within Service.
- Develop business case and prioritization for continuous improvement work in the areas of Operations process framework and calculate potential productivity impact.
- Support the Operational Excellence management team with respect to a concise summary of information and the creation of management presentations, workshops and proposals.
- Ensure strong focus on the implementation of the application solution(s) development in strong partnership with the regions and to ensure value-add for our key operations in Service.
What You Need To Make a Difference
Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:
For a motivating team player who has a university degree in management, business engineering, engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or natural science. Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant Project Management and/or consulting experience, ideally from the wind or service industry. Experience in project management or operational transformation is an advantage.
You are able to manage multiple projects and tasks based on priority. You gained insights in the area of project execution in large-scale construction projects business (power plant projects, infrastructure projects etc.). Gain insights into the wind industry and large-scale infrastructure project background is an advantage.
It is welcome if you have experience in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement concepts and problem-solving processes.
You are structured and demonstrated strong problem-solving skills taking a holistic end-to-end perspective. Proven track record in project management, and the ability to communicate and interact with colleagues and collaborators at all levels in a large, complex and global organization.
You have shown the ability to implement and bring concepts to life in a fast-moving and changing environment. Passion for change management. You are committed to deadlines and show ownership of your assignments.
You are as a person a team player with a can-do attitude, open to feedback from peers and managers and want to learn and develop yourself. You know how to plan and prioritize the given tasks within multiple projects.
It is a big advantage if you thrive in a multicultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations. It is therefore important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
