We are hiring on behalf of a leading technology company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeking an experienced Senior PHP Developer. This is a full-time remote opportunity open to candidates based in the EMEA region.

Role Overview:

As a Senior PHP Developer, you will play a key role in building, optimizing, and maintaining high-performance web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions, ensuring efficiency, security, and seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust PHP-based web applications.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB to ensure smooth data processing.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and UX/UI designers to ensure seamless functionality.
• Implement security best practices and data protection measures.
• Stay updated with the latest PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.) and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in PHP development, with expertise in Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Proficiency in working with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote environment.
