As our Senior People Business Partner for G&A, you’ll report directly to our Chief People Officer, serving as a key member of the People team. What you'll be doing:
- Be the Trust Builder - Forge strong, trust-based relationships with leadership and employees across Camunda. Your open ear, empathy, and ability to navigate nuanced topics will help you stay attuned to what our teams need most.
- Coach & Guide Managers - Offer expert support on challenges related to employee relations, performance issues, and conflict management. Your knack for clarity and candor will help managers approach tough conversations with confidence—and a bit of humanity.
- Champion Employee Development - Design and advise on individual development plans, promotions, lateral moves, and skill-building opportunities. We’re big believers in fostering talent from within, and you’ll help leaders make that a reality.
- Partner on Strategic Initiatives -Proactively collaborate with colleagues across the People Team to recommend tailored solutions that align with the business’s objectives. Whether it’s a new performance management tool or a fresh approach to leadership training, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation.
- Navigate Employee Relations & Investigations - Serve as a trusted advisor on HR policies, employee relations matters, and investigations. You’ll create a climate of fairness, transparency, and swift resolution, ensuring everyone feels heard and respected.
- Ensure Confidentiality & Professionalism - Handle all employee matters with the utmost discretion and care. Trust is the currency of any People team, and we guard it zealously
What you bring:
- Proven Experience: 10+ years in an international, fast-paced environment (startups, scale-ups—where you’ve had to wear multiple hats and maybe even juggle them at times).
- Relationship Building: Demonstrated success working across multiple locations with diverse stakeholders. You can influence decisions, push back when necessary, and still keep the peace.
- Ownership Mindset: You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable blazing trails with minimal direction. If something needs doing, you’re on it.
- Fast-Pace Adaptability: Experience in rapidly scaling organizations—you know the difference between a sprint and a marathon, and you can handle both.
- High-Impact Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including delivering presentations and facilitating impactful meetings. “Death by PowerPoint” is not your style.
- Asynchronous Wizardry: Willingness (and excitement) to master asynchronous communication. We’re a distributed organization; we love efficiency.
- Empathy and Humor: You’re genuine, approachable, and believe that a little laughter can go a long way in navigating complex People issues
- Ability and/or willingness to use our product.

What We Have to Offer:
Compensation
For external hires, we consider the skills and experience of the incoming candidate, but typically place candidates in the first half of the range to ensure ample room for growth over the entire lifecycle of the role.
Below is the annual Total Target Cash Compensation (Total Cash) range for Camundi located in one of our entities. Total Cash refers to base salary and 100% attainment of variable target, where applicable. Actual Total Cash offered will depend on factors such as skills and qualifications related to the role. To comprise the Total Rewards package, Camunda also offers equity (where applicable) in the form of a Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan and benefits based on the country of residence.
The annual Total Cash range for this position for Camundi in our entities is as follows:
- United States: $163,200.00 to $244,700.00
- Germany: €108,500.00 to €162,800.00
- United Kingdom: £105,700.00 to £158,600.00
- Singapore: S$202,600.00 to S$303,900.00
