Senior Pega Developer - Fully Remote

Position Overview: As a Senior Pega Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing Pega applications to meet the evolving needs of our telecommunications clients. Leveraging your extensive experience in Pega development, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that drive efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and optimize business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement Pega applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and other team members to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance on Pega development best practices, design principles, and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews, performance optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure the scalability, reliability, and maintainability of Pega applications.
- Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to deliver incremental value to clients.
- Stay abreast of the latest Pega technologies, tools, and trends, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance our development practices and capabilities.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and dependencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Pega application development, including Pega 7/8 platform.
- Strong proficiency in PegaRULES Process Commander (PRPC) and Pega Platform capabilities, including case management, workflows, decisioning, and integration services.
- Experience with Pega Guardrails and guardrail compliance, ensuring adherence to Pega best practices and guidelines.
- Proven track record of delivering complex Pega solutions for enterprise clients in the telecommunications or related industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
- Pega certification(s) such as Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) or Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) preferred.
