Responsibilities

•        Building automation to consolidate container technologies and migrate microservices from ECS & Kubernetes to our golden platform (EKS/AKS)
•        Building automation to help us migrate our monolithic Ruby on Rails application to a containerized infrastructure built on EKS/AKS.
•        Participating in design/evaluation of new tools, techniques, and technologies.
•        Contributing to & building the architecture of our Cloud platform and its delivery.
•        Developing tools and software applications using Terraform, YAML, JavaScript, Ruby, PowerShell, Bash to grow our operational stack to the next level.

•        6+ years of professional technical experience.
•        4+ years of experience with scripting/programming using Ruby.
•        Experience with building organizationally scalable CI/CD pipelines in tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent
•        Experience building and operating CI/CD pipeline infrastructure at scale for tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
•        Experience building developer-centric shared services platforms.
•        Experience onboarding development teams to Docker, Kubernetes, and/or CI/CD
•        Experience in Cloud Hosting with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
•        Experience with configuration management tools like Terraform, Chef, Puppet, and Ansible.
•        Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, AKS, or equivalent
•        Experience with AWS Controllers for Kubernetes, Crossplane, or equivalent
•       Experience with source control using Git with a solid foundation of branch strategies.
•        Experience deploying and operating immutable infrastructure.
•        Experience with OOP, Design Principles, REST.
•        Experience with Unit and Integration Testing.
•       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
