Job Description

FTS Security Supervisor monitors his staff by patrolling with them by auto or on foot. The supervisor is also responsible for monitoring the electronic surveillance equipment used on the premises. Each day the supervisor assigns areas for his officers to patrol and presents a list of potential problems his officers should be on the lookout for. The supervisor works with staff to develop safety plans for the buildings he monitors. He leads periodic safety drills for employees and clients in the business.

  1. The supervisor has to handle the team of security officers that are assigned to him/her(Them)
  2. The supervisor has to assign security officers their duties
  3. The supervisor has to make an inspection and cover all the vulnerable spots
  4. The supervisor has to arrange all the shifts, weekly offs, for them
  5. The supervisor has to assign security officers their duties
  6. Security supervisors have to prepare reports for the Head of Security  on the happenings that take place in their workplace(Daily and weekly report)
  7. They have to make surprise inspections to see if all security officers are in their assigned places and in proper uniform
  8. The supervisor is responsible for all that happens during their shift, hence, they have to make reports on all of it
  9. They have to train all the new security officers regarding all the security protocols of the company
  10. Security supervisors make a good living. It is a senior post in the company and they are also entitled to benefits. The important factor is the amount of experience they have.
  11. A security supervisor monitors his staff by patrolling with them by auto or on foot.
  12. The supervisor is also responsible for monitoring the electronic surveillance equipment used on the premises.
  13. Each day the supervisor assigns areas for his officers to patrol and presents a list of potential problems his officers should be on the lookout for. If someone is caught trespassing or committing another crime, the supervisor oversees the transfer of the accused person to the custody of local law enforcement personnel.
