About the Role:
As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the successful delivery of our BI project for our healthcare client. You will be responsible for guiding and supporting Agile development teams, ensuring they adhere to Scrum principles and practices, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to achieve project goals. This role is vital in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the project team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Scrum Facilitation: Act as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile development teams, including Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile methodologies as appropriate. Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Team Empowerment: Support and empower Agile teams to self-organize, make decisions, and continuously improve their processes. Remove impediments or roadblocks that hinder team progress, ensuring a smooth development flow.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, priorities, and objectives. Ensure clear communication and alignment between the development team and stakeholders.
- Metrics and Reporting: Monitor project progress and health through the use of Agile metrics and reporting tools. Provide transparency into team performance by tracking and reporting on key Agile metrics, such as velocity, sprint burndown, and release progress.
- Continuous Improvement: Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the project team. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and guide teams in implementing changes that improve efficiency and product quality.

- Scrum Master Experience:
- A proven track record as a Scrum Master on large-scale projects is essential.
- Certification as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) is highly desirable.
- Healthcare Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the healthcare industry, its regulations, and specific BI challenges is a significant advantage. Experience working on healthcare-related projects is preferred.
- Agile Expertise: Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and the ability to tailor Agile practices to the specific needs of the project. Experience with Agile toolsets like Jira or Trello is beneficial.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for effective stakeholder collaboration and team facilitation.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and make decisions quickly to keep the project on track.
- Adaptability: The healthcare landscape is dynamic, so adaptability and the ability to thrive in a changing environment are essential.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate Agile teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
