Summary
Responsible for selling insurance and meeting customer needs while obtaining sales from new clients or existing clients. Also ensuring the client is satisfied and adequately taken care of while making a purchase of his/her insurance.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for finding new insurance clients, following up sales and closing sales to achieve targeted goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers in the insurance sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective sales strategies.
  • Confidently and comfortably utilize sales strategies to find clients. Eg. through door to door visiting companies and homes, cold calling, social media, or one to one meeting with potential customers.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of different insurance covers including health, life and all general insurances.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to customers, showcasing the benefits of services provided by Bluewater Insurance broker.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of our services to different potential clients.
  • Process and follow up customer insurance orders accurately and ensure all documents are correct.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Negotiating with clients.
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote services.
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics

  • Proven experience in any sales position, preferably in insurance will be an added advantage.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
  • A person's commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written English.
  • Communicates with colleagues in a clear and courteous manner.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality for the company and clients.
  • Able to understand the value of proper dressing in sales while meeting clients.

  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with clients
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  •  Ability to work independently
  • Ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook.

Academic Qualifications & Work Experience:

  •  Certificate/Diploma/Degree in any relevant field (Sales & Marketing Preferable)
  • Minimum 1 Year of experience in Sales and Marketing
