Role Overview
We’re looking for a driven and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. This role will involve building relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and direct consumers to maximize occupancy and revenue. The Sales Manager will focus on market expansion, developing and executing sales strategies, and delivering an exceptional customer experience aligned with Karibu Camps & Lodges’ values.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase bookings and market share.
• Build and maintain relationships with travel agents, corporate accounts, and other partners.
• Identify new sales channels and opportunities in domestic and international markets.
• Monitor market trends and competitors, adjusting strategies as needed to stay competitive.
• Work closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with campaigns.
• Lead sales presentations, attend industry events, and represent Karibu Camps & Lodges professionally.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, reporting on progress and key metrics.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in sales management, ideally within the hospitality, tourism, or travel industry.
• Proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of the African tourism market and a passion for safari and travel experiences.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
