Ideal Candidate for the role
You should have:
We’re looking for a self-driven, high-performing sales professional with a proven track record in introducing and scaling alcohol brands—particularly gin—in new or emerging markets.

  • 3+ years of experience in alcoholic beverage sales within Tanzania’s strong markets for gin.
  • A strong network of distributors, wholesalers, and on/off-premise accounts (bars, restaurants, liquor stores) in key gin markets.
  • Ability to use data in making key strategic decisions.
  • A solid understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks in Tanzania’s alcohol distribution channels.
  • Experience launching or positioning gin brands in highly competitive environments.
  • Fluency in Swahili and English and knowledge of regional market trends and consumer behavior.
  • A passion for storytelling and brand-building, with a hands-on approach to execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure monthly achievement of the sales target

  • .Lead market entry strategies across key markets and regions in Tanzania (starting with Lushoto, Tanga, Rombo, etc.)
  • .Identify, recruit, and onboard new distributors, retailers, and hospitality partners
  • .Conduct product education, sampling activations, and in-market promotions
  • .Regularly report sales progress, customer feedback, and competitor insights
  • .Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts to ensure recurring orders
  • .Execute trade marketing and promotional initiatives for volume and brand visibility
