Position
The following tasks shall be included in the execution of the duties:
- Approach farmers working in Corporate bodies and pitch about our Agricultural Platform Services and register them in the platform.
- Sell Agricultural products and reach monthly subscribers and Active paying customers targets
Identify and visit farmer’s groups and unions to explain and register them on our Agricultural platform. - Provide feedback on how Part Time farmers behave, what they propose and what works best and come up with ideas about new products and services.
- Compose Agricultural advisory messages daily and post on the Platform.
- Reply to Agricultural questions asked by farmers through the platform.
Skills required
- Working knowledge of ERP software, being used to work remotely via emails, instant messaging, online meetings and being naturally organized and trustworthy are essential requirements.
- At least 2 years job experience in Sales preferably of Agricultural products
- Ability to make holistic judgments using various sources of information.
- Self driven and Results-driven; making a sale excites you
- Ability to work independently
- Fluency in Swahili and English (oral/written) is also required.
Qualification
Bachelor of science in Agronomy, Bachelor of science in Agriculture general, Bachelor of Crop production and management, or any other related field.
Work Location
You will be based in Dar es Salaam with occasional trips to other regions of Tanzania, as needed. Working schedule will be typical office hours. Weekend working days may be required, as needed.
