JOB DETAILS:

Paveway Africa Limited on behalf of a client is looking for a Resident Manager who will be responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the residential property. This includes ensuring a high level of tenant satisfaction, managing day-to-day operations, and maintaining the property in excellent condition. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer service-oriented, and have experience in property management.

Responsibilities

  • To address tenant complaints and resolve issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular tenant meetings and maintain open communication.
  • To oversee the leasing process, including showing units to prospective tenants, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
  • To coordinate and supervise maintenance activities to ensure the property is well-maintained.
  • Oversee contractors and vendors for repairs, renovations, and routine maintenance.
  • To maintain accurate records of property-related transactions and activities.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and report financials to the property owner.
  • To collect rent and manage accounts receivable.
  • To ensure the property complies with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • To implement and enforce safety policies and procedures.
  • To coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
  • Maintain an online presence for the property, including managing listings and social media accounts.
  • To plan and execute tenant retention programs and community-building events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of property management practices, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
