Request for Proposals (RFP): Education and ICT Experts
Good Neighbors Tanzania (GNTZ) is a non-profit organization committed to making the world a place without hunger, where people live together in harmony while respecting the human rights of those suffering from poverty, disasters, and oppression. Our mission is to support communities in achieving self-reliance and rebuilding hope.
Since 2005, GNTZ has been implementing socio-economic development projects across various regions in Tanzania, including Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar, Mwanza, Dodoma, Mbeya, and Kigoma. Our work is delivered through Community Development Projects (CDPs), which provide holistic and sustainable support to improve the quality of life in these communities.
As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the efficiency and quality of the education sector, GNTZ invites proposals from highly qualified and experienced experts in education and ICT to implement a range of strategic activities aligned with our terms of reference.
Scope of Work:
- Develop innovative teaching methodologies using digital media.
- Conduct teacher training programs focused on Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) and ICT-integrated teaching methods.
- Establish a model classroom environment (CATABI: Curriculum-Assessment-Teaching Alignment Based on ICT Integration).
- Develop and manage a cloud-based platform for updating and accumulating educational materials.
- Support the Zanzibar Education Upgraders (ZEUS) initiative for highly motivated teachers in CBC and ICT integration—including selection and capacity-building.
- Operate and support self-study groups dedicated to voluntary ICT integration research and development.
These initiatives are designed to empower teachers to effectively integrate ICT tools into their pedagogical practices and ultimately improve student learning outcomes.
