JOB DETAILS:
OSM People is seeking an entrepreneurial Regional Operations Manager to lead client operations in East Africa. This role involves managing exploration sites, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving growth initiatives.

Key Details:
• FIFO - 8 weeks on / 4 Weeks off rotation
• Location: East Africa (with travel requirements)

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead teams to meet project goals and pursue client opportunities.
• Present growth strategies to the board and ensure compliance for operational efficiency.
• Manage capital expenditure initiatives and consulting
• budgets.
• Facilitate employee training on compliance and implement internal controls.
• Oversee new projects, shutdowns, and recruitment efforts

Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Management required, with a preference for candidates with a background in Mining Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in operations, business development, and team management within the mining or exploration sector
• Experience with multipurpose drilling, knowledge of drilling techniques and ability to oversee complex drilling operations.
