Description

We are looking for a Quality Control Manager.As a Quality control manager, you be in charge of general management andSupervising in the company and the head office, with emphasis on management and quality control of all the lodges & camps falling under the company’s umbrella.
Responsibilities :
- In charge of smooth running and quality of the company’s camps & lodges:
- Quality of F&B and all other guest service in all camps to the highest guest satisfaction.
- Visit all lodges/camps for the purpose of quality control and act as relief manager.
- Quality of housekeeping, rooms and main areas.
- Maintain a good relationship with respective authorities (i.e TANAPA, Village leadership and TAWA)
- Revitalize lodge/camp interiors when necessary
- An awareness of developments within the food and lodge industries, as well as international trends in hospitality
- Assist the COO to manage the HR functions of the company
- Directly responsible for ongoing “on the job” staff training in F+B and housekeeping.
- Oversee and appraise employee performance within direct supervisory range
- Helping people to work independently to the best of their ability.
- Cost control:
- Implement and strengthen camp admin systems together with the COO.
- Work closely with the company’s stores & purchasing department to reduce cost of sales.
- In coordination with the COO and the stores & purchasing manager improve the camps stores and stock control systems.
- Regular spot checks of stock sheets to ensure that stock takes are recorded accurately
Required profile for job ad : Quality Control Manager - Arusha
- Strong knowledge of all hospitality fields especially F&B and Housekeeping.
- Prepared to spend time in the bush.
- Detail orientated and ability to train.
- Proven work experience in this field.
- Preference will be a candidate with a background in hospitality training and experience
