Are you an expert at detecting differences between things you observe versus what you expect them to be? Do you love technology and learning new things? Are you really good at using writing to explain what you've seen?

If so, you'll love our approach to software quality testing. Our testers are guided through test scripts that are clear and specific and enable them to focus on deciding when an application is meeting or failing our high quality standards.

Unlike most QA Testers that test the same application every day, our testers never get bored and are always challenged, using their skills to test over 100 products that our customer owns.

What You Will Be Doing

• Execute test cases with high precision and detail, diligently checking each step and documenting differences
• Follow a process that includes testing in two-hour "Deep Work Blocks"
• Learn new software products regularly

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Executing all of your tests on the same product - we want all our QA testers to explore our portfolio of over 100 products, and we split our testing between our team members so that they can run in parallel.
• Coding - using Gherkin, you will be able to automate QA tests without any coding experience.
• Editing unit or integration tests - these are done by our software engineers.

Quality Assurance Engineer Key Responsibilities

Basic Requirements

• A university degree (BS, MS, or PhD) that included in-depth study of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, computer architecture, and software engineering
• 4yrs of experience as a QA Engineer
• Experience in Manual or Automation QA
• Experience utilizing Selenium and Postman
• Experience with API testing
• Willingness to work overlapping at least 5 daily hours into US EST Time zone

Working with Crossover

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
