- What’s my job title? QoS Support Specialist (SMS Growth)
- Where in the world? You can work remotely from anywhere in EMEA
- Working hours? For this role, you will operate within EMEA timezones
- What language(s) will I speak? Fluency in English (plus proficiency in Spanish, German or French will be an advantage)
Our QoS team works closely together with our Connectivity, Enterprise, Routing and Customer
Support teams to ensure the highest level of service to our largest customers.
The team is driven by a set of targets and goals for our key accounts; being responsible for lowering our cost baseline, being the driver behind our pricing strategies and feeding our sales teams with SMS and other conversion products they would need to successfully win new business.
As a QoS Support-Specialist you are the spider in the web when it comes to the above. As the name reveals you fulfil a supporting role to our QoS Specialists by making sure we follow the right strategies to set them up for success. As the business contains many different variables, only the right approach and decisions lead to the right results. Being a team player and not being afraid to multi-task are essentials to the role.
Your job is to help the team generate predefined margins on a fixed set of large enterprise accounts by actively sourcing, testing and exploring routing options to drive better quality and COGS.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the team to maintain, manage and increase margins on a fixed set of large Enterprise customers
- Identify and execute direct SMS cost saving by utilising routing capabilities available via multiple tools and platforms
- Regularly deliver new cost baselines for optimised routing setups to support all Sales teams (Enterprise & Connectivity)
- Work closely together with the Connectivity Sales teams to secure Trading deals to deliver incremental SMS margin
- Identify and onboard new Vendors for international SMS and local termination
- Source cost-effective solutions from our existing vendors
- Driving internal strategies to leverage successes across all managed accounts.
- Being the team’s primary contact and goalkeeper for all 3rd party suppliers.
Other Responsibilities
- Committing to quarterly and annual margin targets and KPIs
- Keep up-to-date records of activities, opportunities and accounts
Skills And Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in wholesale SMS and/or Enterprise commercial routing
- Experience in negotiating/trading and meeting cost reduction
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven experience in balancing priorities and managing multiple deals and tasks at the same time
- Experience and ability to understand and work with multiple systems and Trading tools.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally
- Fluent English speaker and proficiency in Spanish, German or French will be an advantage.
- A good understanding of the trends driving innovation in CPaaS technology
- A proven team-player
