JOB DETAILS:
I'm looking for Purchasing Manager - Lubricant Industry as per below details
Purchasing Manager- will be responsible in Purchasing Dirty oil and selling our Lubricants product to achieve maximum company requirement and growth within the Lubricants Market by effectively buying and selling the company’s product and material.
Responsibilities
I. Establishing strategic plans and buying objectives in line with company’s targets.
II. Developing and implementing buying and selling action-plans within different channels: key accounts, distributors, resellers, CODOs, export & retail network.
III. Surveying our requirement needs & trends, as well as, tracking our competitors.
IV. Analyzing country market trends and discovering innovative opportunities for growth
V. Identifying new product prospects, and/or product, packaging, and service improvements buying/business development:
VI. Managing prospective clients and determining the frequency to solicit them to build a sustainable base for regional growth.
VII. Overall commercial responsibility of the lubricant business in the country
VIII. Carry out promotion and marketing campaigns activities supporting business growth and brand awareness, in liaison with company marketing team.
IX. Interacting with the LOB team to grow/maintain big accounts (mines, power-plants, etc.)
X. Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly buy/sales goals.
Education & Qualifications
Degree in Business, Chemical Engineering /Mechanical Engineering or any Science related subject.
Requirements
Experience required:
1- 10 Years’ working experience in the similar roles or industry like Lubricant Industry, Automobile Industry, Mining industry and other relating industry.
2- Detailed understanding of petroleum products, market and logistics.
3- Knowledge on lubes application points (equipment) and Exposure on sales and marketing procedures.
4- Product knowledge (lubes)
5- Fluent in Swahili and English
6- Detailed understanding of the planning and budget process methodology.
7- Should have written and interpersonal skills as well as excellent presentation,
8- Effective communication and reporting skills across the business
9- Attention to detail is required
