EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree of Mass Communications /Journalism degree or a related discipline
• Computer literacy (MS word, Excel, Power point)

EXPERIENCE

• Three to Five (3-5) years related experience public relations, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel
• Previous Press Relations experience in a similar environment
• Strong interpersonal skills to enable communication with a wide audience
• Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Ability to work under pressure always

• Must be a confident communicator and presenter
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills
• Have a full understanding of media needs and media relationships
• Be proactive, reliable, responsible and accurate with an attention to detail
• Possess the ability to keep information confidential
• Tactical understanding of all primary social media platforms
• Ability to work in high-stress environments, often for long hours
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude
• Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
