AICT Tabora has an experience of more than 9 years of implementing various community based programs including Pamoja Tuwalee project, Kizazi Kipya project, COMPASSION Children Centre, MANOLEO Project and Tulonge Afya project. All of these interventions aimed to support and improve socio wellbeing of society at Tabora Municipality where Health, Education, Economic and GBV awareness have been addressed. The interventions have been supported by International and reputed Donors including USAID through PEPFAR.
AICT Diocese of Tabora is looking for enthusiastic, creative, energetic, skilled and committed staff to fill the currently available position (Monitoring and Evaluation Officer) for USAID Tulonge Afya project. USAID Tulonge Afya Project is five years USAID funded Project from 2016 to 2021. The project aims to catalyze opportunities for Tanzanians to improve their health status by transforming socio-cultural norms and supporting the adoption of healthier behaviors. The project covers 17 Wards of Tabora Municipal.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Coordinate implementation and provide oversight of monitoring and evaluation activities in the supported councils, including data collection, management, and reporting,
• Perform simple data analyses and visualization to promote data use at all levels
• Generate and contribute to quarterly or other reports, as needed
• Support Cluster M&E staff to conduct routine internal data quality assessments (DQAs)
• Conduct regular data monitoring site visits to other staffs; review and provide feedback on staffs performance
• Review critically reports submitted by Volunteers and perform data verification as needed
• Conducting regular field supervision to support proper use of M&E Tools and refresher where necessary
• Set up and maintain data entry and management systems including applications
• Supervise data entry by data clerks
• Other tasks as assigned

Skills and experience:
• At least 1 years of experience on the relevant field.
• Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
• Team Working Ability
• Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Competence on compute software, eg Ms excel, Ms Word, Ms access, PowerPoint ect
• Experience with mobile data collection
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills in English and Kiswahili
• Ability to work effectively with multiple teams, partner agencies and community members.
• Availability and willingness to travel up to 50% time

Academic qualifications:
• Diploma in public health, sociology, demography, statistics, or other social science area; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Academic qualification in monitoring and evaluation will be an added advantage.
