We are currently hiring on behalf of a prominent holding company headquartered in Dubai, seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist. This is a full-time remote opportunity open to candidates located within the EMEA region.

About the Role

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing sourcing, supplier negotiation, and procurement operations across multiple business units. You will play a critical role in ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance, and timely acquisition of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, RFQs, and procurement contracts.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to forecast procurement needs and align with budgets.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to supply chain optimization.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, legal guidelines, and internal procedures.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate procurement reports as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Officer, Specialist, or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote setting.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience working with regional and international suppliers is highly preferred.
