GAINI COMPANY LIMITED (GCL) is among the leading building materials suppliers in Lake Zone. GCL has branches in Dodoma and Dar-es-salaam. Company plans to expand to Southern Highlands – Mbeya and Northern Zone – Arusha.

GCL is looking for 1 experienced and talented procurement officer to join the highly performing team.

Employment condition: FULL TERM
Location: MWANZA

Requirements:
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as supply chain, logistics, or business administration.
• Practical experience in procurement is essential and a bonus.

• Strong negotiation, communication and strategic thinking skills.

• Knowledge of procurement software tools and general computer skills are required.
• Should be able to build relationships with vendors and other stakeholders.
• Female candidates are highly recommended.
• Must be at least 25 years of age and above.

Job Description:
• Evaluating products for quality and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient.
• Execute the purchases of goods or services approved by management.

• Track inventory and submit purchase orders as needed.
• Recommend new products, services or materials
• Negotiating the best prices with suppliers.
• Managing risks and reducing costs to maximize profitability.
• Maintaining compliance with purchasing guidelines and company policies.

• Managing vendor relationships and coordinating with company management.
• Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Any other activities that might be assigned by management.
